According to Petrova, you shouldn't allow your eyes to decide what you can't accomplish because they may deceive you; start doing with your hands and you'll accomplish anything.

IOWA CITY - For the past 21 years Jon Weih has been working at Kirkwood Community College. He started working with Distance Learning and Media at the main campus in Cedar Rapids. He is now the director of Student Services and Student Life at the Iowa City campus.

Big Read takes on 'Fahrenheit 451'

IOWA CITY - Kirkwood Community College's Iowa City campus will be participating in the Big Read in Johnson County, which will be focusing on the classic novel "Fahrenheit 451" by Ray Bradbury. According to Kate Hess, Iowa City campus librarian, the library has copies of the book available for students, staff and faculty members who want to join a book discussion group and to faculty who want to check out copies for their classes.
