Riding a wave of success, the Kirkwood volleyball team is heading into the postseason with a target on their backs. With a 29-8 record and a national ranking, the Eagles will take to the court in the Region 11 tournament to prove they are worth the hype.

Men eyeing return to national tournament Tyler Loring Coming off a National Junior College Athletic Association runner-up finish a year ago, the Kirkwood men's basketball team has some potential to reach that same level again this season. Head basketball coach Doug Wagemester is excited about this year's recruiting class of freshmen and transfers.

Johnson Hall to be re-energized

If you have ever been to Johnson Hall to watch a basketball game, volleyball match or a practice, you know how hot the building can get. Tom Kaldenberg, executive director of facilities, said plans are in the works to fix the problem. "We still have power issues where we need to add more power to the building," he said.
